lol i love that guy
i do what grizzly does (I'm in the UK). The only difference is I use a siberian hitch on one end, and a truckers hitch with a slippery half hitch on the other. When it comes to taking everything down, I just release the truckers hitch and pull out the loop, then pull on the spare end of the siberian hitch, and to put it all away, hank the cord at each end then fold it up. Total time to take down <30 seconds
the truckers hitch means your ridgeline is super-tight so no chance of sagging
Ok, guys I am trying to work this whole thing out in my mind. As it looks the idea is to attach your tarp to your hammock? If that is the case dosent the hammock tend to get real loose when you sit in the hammock and then perhaps tighten up as you lay down?
One other problem I see with this, when I put my system I want my tarp up first so I dont get the hammock wet, and then I want to take the tarp down last in case it is raining, or am I missing something?
For me at least, the tarp is independent, not attached to the hammock at all.
We are not attaching the tarp to the hammock, my tarp is independent. This method is for attaching the tarp tarp to the tarp ridgeline using prussic knots for adjustments instead of hardware
