    Cuben Tarp. Cammo or Clear?

I spent this week researching what I wanted in my cuben tarp. Doors or no doors. Sewed ridgeline with tape vs just tape. 11' or 12'

So I have narrowed it down to the HG, w/doors, 11'.
But I can not decide on the material. I would like the clear (grean) so I can have some visability out of the tarp but I would also do not want to have a greenhouse effect and would like a little privacy.

    Any words of wizdom?

Mine is a camo, doors on one side tarp and it suits me perfect. At 18:35 of this video you can see it in action. Good luck with your decisions.

Are you going to be hanging in the midday sun? If so, cuben fiber is probably not the right tarp for you. I would think the camo would let in nearly as much sun as the regular CF. As for visibility/privacy, both the camo and the green are translucent, but you can't see much through either of them. Even if someone could deduce you were changing, they'd have to use their imagination to visualize specific body parts.

For me, and all else being equal, I would pick the camo. This choice is not as much about camo itself, but, because I don't like loud colors for my tarp and the green that I've seen is a little too much so.

The green is better than the white and would win this choice for me.

    Good luck in your choice.

Too green? I can't tell the green from the white from the grey, to tell you the truth.

Not too green, but, the green is a little on the lime green and bordering on the white/grey like you mentioned. It's too loud for me.

If it was more of a Hunter Green or darker than the current color, it would be better for me. That's just me.

I've actually had two different versions of the camo. The only drawback is that the cuben is a little shiny when viewed from the outside. The 12 foot in length suits my 11' long hammocks much better.

Really nice video, like the way you designed your cuben tarp and pack.
