At the FL Hang I used a 10x12 tarp with a low porch in front. It got quite chilly. On subsequent nights I used a small BASE diamond shaped tarp under the main tarp - hanging loose in front. It helped but I still had too much cold air coming in at the ends. It's a very small tarp - 8' along the Ridgeline. And, I think, 4' hanging into a point.

With the spreader bars, I have squared off ends. I "wear" my Feathered Friends Rock Wren sleeping bag, which means I have to hitch it up to climb out, plus I sleep with two chihuahuas and assorted fleece blankets. Getting in and out is a challenge.

Looking for suggestions for a top cover to keep out the wind. TX
