    ENO Slap Straps

I know that theses straps are kind of on the heavy side but they are great for multi hanging things. I am able to hang my hammock, tarp, backpack, and boots. The only other thing I need are carabiners to clip on to the many available loops. I love my Atlas Straps! (sorry no pictures yet )

sorry the title says slap straps I meant Atlas Straps. Thanks gmcttr for the correction.

To avoid confusion for others, Slap Straps and Atlas Straps are two different products. Slap Straps are nylon and are known to stretch excessively overnight. Atlas Straps are polyester and do not have the stretching problem.

I have a set that I got to use with my ENO Reactor (double layered) and they work great. Eventually I switched to an amsteel based suspension since it packs up smaller and lighter, which works great for backpacking. The Atlas straps still work great for car camping.

Thanks for the idea about using all the loops for hanging other gear. I never thought about it but it's such a great idea.

I have never used them but they seem like they would be the easiest, most foolproof, problem free suspension available.
No more bulk than my current setup and only a little bit heavier. Someday I will give them a try.

My set did me well for a year. Still in great shape (durable), but I usually have the option for small trees so I used the opportunity for some weight reduction. Now I am using some 3/4" webbing, but like BryanS pointed out, thanks for the idea of using the extra loops as hangers.

I generally like ENO's products. Slap straps are one of very few exceptions - they really do stretch a lot. I love my Atlas Straps. The slight weight increase is worth it for the confidence I have in the straps. They are absolute work horses! Most of my gear either has an aluminum biner or a nitize S clip attached. I clip all of my gear to the extra loops. While my cinch straps are lighter, I carry an extra gear line for the same purpose...

I am really not sure why the Atlas Straps aren't talked about more. I have tried almost every hanging system possible and have pretty much gone to Atlas Straps on all my hammocks. Just too simple. Yea they weigh a little more but simplicity wins me over.

My daughter has a set and likes them. I've also gifted a set or two just because they are so easy to use.
Their second or third hammocks have straps/buckles with Dutch bling so they don't have to remove the straps from the hammock to go around the trees.

I still carry at least one Atlas for hanging gear.
