new UL ENO hammock and suspension ... look familiar?

Looks like ENO is finally catching on.

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I - I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.

What ever would we have done had they not brought forth this amazing innovation in hammock suspension systems.....Good for them. Let them have their moment in the sun. Glad to see they have come to a more enlightened understanding. Plenty of room at the table for everyone.

Its funny to see them avoid using fairly standard terms like whoopie sling. Who wants to bet that they'll want $150 for that hammock and suspension?

Some 18yo intern probably went to the development team and said "look what I made". He has been promoted and now they have a new product.

Looks like they have the adjustable loop at the hugger instead of the biner, that may cause some wear and chaffing. I bet the strap goes first. The straps might still stretch depending on what polyester "blind" they are using.

It's $70 at REI, doesn't show or mention the suspension though, so that's probably separate. It's pretty small, 105x47.

Well most of us start somewhere and for me it was with ENO. I think it's important to recognize their importance that way. My only complaint now would be that the hammocks are usually too short for me to do much but lounge in. But my wife and kids love my original doublenest.

So...I'm new to hammocking...what's with all the negativity toward eno? I have no loyalty to any brand yet. Seriously wondering. Thanks
