    Burrow 20

I just ordered my first top quilt, a Burrow 20. This should go nicely with my Incubator 20, which I use as a fair weather 4 season under quilt. I will pass along my shopping experience, which so far in my limited hammock camping experience, has been exceptional from all vendors. I am looking forward to getting some fast packing in down in Arkansas once I get the top quilt.

    See you on the trail!

I have a 20 deg tq also. I think a 20 deg is a great all around temperature range choice.

Hey Sporto, an excellent choice! I have got a 20 degree burrow from HG as well (brown outside, burnt orange on the inside, snap closure footbox) and love it. So darn comfy. What colors did you go with??

I got a 20* Burrow a few months ago. Burnt Red outside - very comfy.
Went from a 4 1/2 lb Wiggy's bag to a 21 ounce top quilt - still grin every time I pick it up...

@deerdog I agree but I might get an overfilled 40 later this year. I like how @sintax77 has his quilt configured and may follow suit http://www.sintax77.com/tag/hg-burrow-40/

@wilhelm13 I chose bright yellow outer with a black inner. I went to school at Wichita State and those are the colors, guess I am partial.

@passinthru I agree! I have been using my sleeping bags but the size and weight are hard to beat. I am progressing to lightweight backpacking & fastpacking so the space in my Osprey Talon 33 or Trip 20 have forced me to "progress" from traditional packing. Having been down range with my LRSD a I have no desire to be a minimalist. Nothing's wrong with being minimalist (or traditionalist) it's just not my thing.

Got the 20 burrow and followed up with 20 Pheonix. Only one night in the 30's so far, still learning to get the UQ just right for me. But SO happy with the weight and space saving in my pack.
And even if you saw it yourself, you wouldn't believe it

Yeah I always smile whenever I pick up my incubator. So light and beautiful! Can't wait to pair it with a burrow. The pair will weigh the same as my DIY synthetic top quilt, and pack into the same size.
The ground is hard, and full of rocks...

Love mine too. Black & gray, sewn foot box with extra feathers in the bottom for toasty toes.
