Just got off the phone with hangNyak discussing the trails from Godwin Lake to Isabell CreekGodwin Lake to Isabell Ck.jpg

The Blue is the Blue connector Trail. The Red is the two track which I maybe taking in, 2.12 mi. The Pink is the southerly route, 1.95 mi. This is the one with the water blocks across the two track and it can be wearing after awhile.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.

Ok, remember that we'll be limited to 35 people so don't sign up and not show. Please list each person in your group separately and what you'll be bringing (you aren't required to join in on the community food to attend)

The easiest way to do lists like this is to reply with quotes to the last one that was done and when your editor opens up delete the quote code (it is a QUOTE with the name of the person you are quoting and a number surrounded by brackets and then a /QUOTE surrounded by brackets) at both ends of the quote. That way it is copied but not quoted (this preserves the formatting) so that the next person can quote it, remove the quote code (to preserve the formatting and make it quotable for the next person) and so on...

Wondering what the weather will be. I've been skiing in New England in single digit weather for the last few days. The forecast for today calls for balmy teens.

I need help with my purchases. The shredded cheese is easy enough. Shall I get all cheddar or a cheese combo?

Went to Costco toad to get some vacuum-packed (non-refrigerated) bacon bits I saw before Xmas. They were by the beef jerky then. Not there now.

I don't plan to take a cooler -but coul have cooler in car. What am I supposed to buy? Photo appreciated.

It's still a bit far out for an accurate guess... but there is rain predicted for the Wednesday before (suggesting a cold front), slightly reduced daytime temp Thursday with high of lower 60s and low in lower 50s. Cross your fingers for not in the 90s for a change

The current olddog based sherpa is a lot easier to cobble together at home and MUCH cheaper

They have real bacon bits in sealed packages at pretty much any grocery store (Walmart, Publix, all of the usual suspects have it) in the salad fixins section near the dressing, croutons, etc.
