Finally got around to trying to clean up the little bit of video footage I took while out there...still learning my way through audio/video editing and getting used to a GoPro (especially the "don't handle the case while filming, it screws up the audio" part--my apologies on the subpar audio) instead of a normal camera, so the video is nowhere near as good as Maztrain's video is...but I did catch Home Run in his tree perch out by Wilson Creek, so there's that...anyways, here it is.
I just put those dates in my 2016 calendar, looking forward to it

Big winds had the crew graduate as TarpMasters by the end of the weekend. Pretty ingenious folks. If you're ever here in the states, we'd love to share a hang with you! (I enjoyed the pics in your gallery. Beautiful scenery.)

I had a wonderful time at my first cold weather group hang! It was lovely meeting you all, sharing a few meals, and swapping stories. Glad to see a few of you live close enough to Dimjim and I to get together for shorter hikes too. If we have any more down hats coming off the sewing table I will be sure to mention it here first so that you get a heads up.
All the videos from that weekend look great! Maztrain does a nice job with his Youtube page. Maybe he will turn more folks on to the joys of hammock camping.
