CoolDays showed up Sat eve after supper, set up his hammock not far from the pavilion & sat around & talked awhile.
You must have just missed him.

    Park Survey

Head Ranger Harvey Thompson asked us to consider doing a short survey about the park.

The info sheet says you could win a $50 VA State Park Gift Certificate & other prizes in a monthly drawing form surveys received.

I did turn in early after the tarp explosion and felt I needed to check on my rig. My hammock sucked me in! I slept until 2AM and got up to get water and walked around a bit. Dang the stars are bright up there.

Exceptional Maz! You captured the essence of the MR Hang. You have a real talent there. I sure enjoyed our walk in the high country. Usually it's immenseness and glory can't completely be felt by the viewer. You not only have his attention, but have his spirit soaring with heightened senses. Very nice job.
I look forward to sharing a trail with you soon.

    Looking forward to the reports!

I found next years dates & had them with me at the hang, just forgot about it.

Here are the dates for the last two weekends in Jan, 2016

    Fri-22
    Sat-23
    Sun-23

    FRi-29
    Sat-30
    Sun-31

Think we could go ahead & set a date?
