If anyone is looking for a differnet spot in the Deam, this place looked pretty nice for a group hang. On top of a ridge, nice and flat with lots of hanging opportunities. Not sure if it was far enough off the trail though. I'll have to check Google Earth when I get home.

Somewhere off the Grubb Ridge trail IIRC.

GRT looks pretty nice. I'd like to see other areas in IN other then the nebo trail. How's the water situation?

Sorry I forgot to check google earth (my iphone should have the long/lat as long as I had it off airplane mode)

There is usually water within a mile or so in the small holding ponds (depending on where you camp), but that stuff is pretty nasty. Prefilter, then filter. I usually throw in a MP1 tablet just for good measure since it's just plain stagnant.

Most people like to have a place with good water. It is beautiful though. It's still an option.

Cheff 13. I suggest making a pole for when and another for where. I think you are the only one that can add it or we may even have to migrate to a new thread.

I just counted the preferences so far and it's tied 4 to 4 on the dates.

Id love to come this year. I know for sure I Can't do the 10th, but don't know for sure that I can do the 17th. So bottom line, don't let me away the vote too much.
I'd like to get my daughter out there with me so we shall see if I can make it work.
Also have a new WBRR on the way so I would love to get some hang time in!
