Diy Tarp sleeves and more @ Dutchwaregear.com

Want a real easy Diy project? I am selling nano-no-seeum that is 11 inches wide by 13 feet to make tarp sleeves. Why 13 feet? That is so you can put pockets in the ends to stow your ridgeline. You can make it two pieces or one long sleeve. You could also use these to make baffles or ridgeline organizers. I am introducing them at only $8 each.

You must be a mind reader because I was just talking to my wife about this at dinner. Next project for sure.

tarp skins are a MUST. I have them on all my tarps. Do as Dutch says and make pockets and store your ridge lines and your Dutch bling right there with the tarp so you can have an all in one package that deploys fast. I can fit all my tarps in their stock bags with tarp skins on them, though it is a little harder. I'm actually getting a little bit bigger stuff sack for my tarps so I can keep all my guy lines, tensioners, hardware, everything right in the stuff sack.

Hey Dutch...make stuff sacks, stake bags, and bear bags

I set up an 10 x 11 ft tarp with doors in conditions like this once. It took me like an hour and a lot of cursing. I was going to use pantyhose when I got around to making some but these will be more classy.

Hey Dutch...may want to add these dimensions to the website. I was looking and didn't see them.

Well you can make it one log sleeve or ones that meet in the middle. Sewing it is pretty straight fwd. Sew the long side and then fold back the ends so you wind up with a pocket

I need a visual of how the pockets work.
We're all pretty bizarre. Some of us are just better at hiding it, that's all.
