Adding that to a well-fitted MWUQ should get you below zero. And if you're already carrying a CCF sit pad (I would at those temps), you can always augment with that if necessary.

You'd have to change the suspension on the Yetis I imagine. They are pretty tight and I'm sure they would compress the MW. A lot easier to make suspension adustments using a JRB as an underquilt, so I'd say put that on the outside and snug it up against the Yeti.

Is the Yeti a torso-sized or 2/3 underquilt? If so, and the MWUQ is not compressing the Yeti, there will be a gap under the knees between the hammock and MWUQ that's at least the thickness of the Yeti.

If the Yeti is full-length then it shouldn't be a problem.

yea, there would be a gap in the jrb under the knees the thickness of the yeti.

if stacking underquilts, 2 of the same size would probably be best

you could probably re-rig the suspension of the yeti to be looser, but the stock suspension won't loosen up enough to do that as is. shouldn't be too hard to lengthen though

Man - it's taking a lot of discipline to not spend the money on a Yeti! I imagine I'll buy one sooner or later but my wife is already getting on to me for how much money I spent when I got back from overseas so it'll have to wait a while...but still! I've heard good things about them. Can't wait to see one in person when I get there!

Planning to leave NC around 15 Dec and sign in to the new unit before Christmas. Getting moved in (and maybe taking a quick trip to Eagle's Peak) in January. Ready for the winter hang in Feb/Mar.
