Howdy all, my name is Harry Carlson. I am an employee of Hammock Gear, and have worked here since May of 2014. Recently, I was promoted to Floor Lead and will be working closely with Stormcrow and Thorwren to better take care of our wonderful customers. Customer service is a passion of mine and a keystone to any successful business. I wanted to introduce myself here and hopefully provide some insight into my background, as well as get to know the world of hammock camping better. For 7 years I worked as a manufacturer's representative in the commercial plumbing & heating world, but always wanted to work in a field that I enjoyed more. Being outdoors has always brought me a lot of joy, and working for a company that helps people get outdoors more is so rewarding. I've never actually been hammock camping (holy crap how can this guy work for Hammock Gear, let alone be the floor lead?!), but plan on getting out there once the weather warms up a bit. Despite having never "hung" (boy that sounds morbid), I'm eager to learn from all of you veterans and help bring more noobs, like myself, to the hammocking world. Anyways, long story longer, I'm Harry. I'll be the guy who gets in touch with most of your email questions (lead times, general questions, order status, etc.). Use me as your resource, in addition to Stormcrow and Thorwren, to get in touch with people at Hammock Gear. I look forward to hanging with some of you in the future, and getting to enjoy the outdoors more!
