Im Nate from northwest Arkansas. been a long time lurker on the hammock forum since I found Shug's videos on hammock camping and finally decided since im getting fairly involved in hammock camping and DIY gear I might as well join. love hiking and camping in the multiple state parks in Arkansas especially devils den and hobbs state parks.

I'm definately considering going to the hang in march but i need to get a bit more gear before that. I'm going to need a warmer underquilt than a pluq for that hang and i might need a better topquilt than a military sleeping bag but ill see what i can whip up to get out and hang. Im thinking a 5.0 climashield apex uq might do me well and maybe see about making a tq but im not sure yet.
