Watch movies in your hammock!

On that crank charger... how well does it work? If it takes my iPod an hour to recharge in the car, does that mean an hour of cranking?

Since I've got my iPhone along for the ride to the site ... and off in my pack ... I've usually just uploaded a DVD (vis cucusoft) or maybe an iPhone movie rental. I like the 550 cord hanger ... that's a good idea.

I've usually got a 3GJuice backup that assures I won't burn through my battery in case I actually need the phone before I get back to the Jeep.

Usually I just enjoy being in Linville Gorge but that one trip was alone and it was kind of nice to watch a movie ... enjoy a hot cup of tea and lounge till time to snooze between the trees!

Isn't technology great!! Hard to go lite weight with all the new techno gizmos coming out...

My relatives thought I was a little wacky, sleeping outside in the "cold and damp". Little did they know I was WAY more comfortable than they were!

I actually don't get much opportunity to watch my flicks at home... seems certain movies that I really enjoy are not on the list of selections that my wife enjoys

That or they're not appropriate for the younguns around here.

i picked up these speakers for possible solo trips - they sound great and pack very small. Also you only have to use 1 speaker at a time, which means you can play one until the battery dies, then use the other.

i will be conducting a batter test soon.
