I still want to snow camp this season. Maybe I can find a spot for Friday that isn't shut down due to fallen trees and ice.
Everyone ought to believe in something....I believe I'll go set up the hammock!

I had such a good time at this hang last year, I almost want to make the 15 hour drive down from NY...almost!

Sorry to hear that you guys had to cancel.
@Slowanderer - you need to go to this hang. You'd fit right in!

Looks like Uncle Sam moved you North. Give us a heads up if you get sent South again. Last year at Raven was fun.

The stew is cooking and the cornbread is almost done. Sure smells good.

Are we going to try Raven Cliff again in March or try somewhere else? I'm in either way!

Chestatee WMA above Cleveland is a nice place also. You can drive up to your campsite and there are plenty of them. Access to a trail that leads to Jarrards Gap on the AT. Blood Mountain Falls is a nice fall in the WMA and there are a bunch more on ****'s Creek that runs through the WMA.

Last few times I was up there all the sites had so much trash that they were pretty much unusable. If there wasn't trash scattered all over the site then it was piled up in the fire pits. If we do go there we'll have to bring a bunch of trash bags and spend some time cleaning up before we set up. Unless of course someone's been up there to clean up over the winter.

    Where is Blood Mtn Falls?
