I saw a purchase today with PayPal Friends... I know what Pay Pal is because I use it.... is it not the same? Can some one please differentiate the two please. I want to make sure I don't break the rules if I need to purchase an item on the forum.

"Payments sent through the Friends and Family option are not eligible for Buyer Protection at this time."

Basically, with 'Friends and Family' the seller is putting the Paypal fees onto the buyer. Not allowed in forum sales.

It would be most helpful it you used the "Report Post" feature to alert the moderators when you see a violation of the Terms Of Service/rules. It is the small triangle with an exclamation point in the lower left corner of every post. Thanks
The Friends option does not provide any recourse for either party if a transaction goes bad.
Ok... guys... I saw the post... i'm not reporting an incident / violation. I am just asking what PayPal Friends wasMaybe I should ask what is the preferred method of payment of items purchased on the forum?
