Papa Smurf, did I understand you correctly when you said that you could change the direction of your lay by having another net or overcover made in the opposite direction? So if you had a left hand lay bugnet, just order a right hand lay bugnet and the hammock would then be essentially right hand lay?

That is correct. The shape of the netting or overcover determine whether the hammock is right lay or left lay.

Detach the ridgeline and pull your hammock inside out. Stitching and zips might get a tad weird but you will be able to see whether you like it the other way
