The minimum distance between the loops on my RR woodie slings is more than 13'. The RR is the "weak link" in site selection, not the tarp. If you use a continuous ridgeline on the tarp, then you create a "V" that your RR suspension can go between allowing you to have your tarp much lower than your hammock. I have a RR and 12' HG cuben with doors. I'm about 6" short of being able to completely close both doors, which isn't an issue for me. I've had the tarp at least 1' below my suspension the last time I used it (see pic below). We were in the Appalachians with heavy fog and rain for 3 days. I had to have it tucked down to keep the fog from floating in. The doors wee an absolute must on that trip.
