    Hello from Roanoke

    Hi everyone,

    Joined up to find some information on Hammock backpacking. I did it a little bit as a teen in Florida, but thermal concerns are somewhat new to me. All I had then was a mesh hammock, blue tarp, and a light sleeping bag. I now live in Roanoke, VA and it actually gets chilly here . So far I am learning a bunch from the great posts.

    Looking forward to getting my butt back in a sling...
