Hi All,
New poster here, but I've be lurking in the shadows, reading and learning for a few months. Got in to hanging by nothing more than looking for a lighter, more comfortable sleep system than my ground tent. I love my hammock and have actually been able to convert my son to the idea. I look forward to learning from all the massive knowledge here and maybe I'll be able to contribute occasionally through my experiences as i go!

Hey John I'm new to hammocks too! I'm also from north Alabama I live in Russellville so I do spend a lot of time in Florence. Maybe the people from North Alabama or anyone that wants to join can get a group hike in the sipsey one of my favorite places to go.
