Thanks. I'll be going through the gear boxes this weekend to find the items I'm gonna have to sell to justify that little purchase so there may be something out there for you after all. you'll just have to pony up a bit. I was sincere when I said I've seen dozens of fixed blades for sale and thought, "yea, that's nice but will I really use it?" This one just hit the right cord, and well, here I sit thinking of what sacrifice will have to be made to cover it. I'll likely do a review on it once it comes in. If it's as sharp as advertised, I'll be practicing feather stick and more with it for a while.
I'm looking forward to hanging in the rain Friday night at home because of the storms going through. Still need a proper thunderstorm test in the Membrane Sil tarp.

I always thought of a tarp with doors being primarily used for winter camping so I feel dumb that I didn't think of how useful it would be to keep rain out as well. I may have to eventually hand down my tarp to my son and get one with doors myself.
Haha - guess how I learned??
One option is to get the door kit for the WBMJ. That way you can close up one end (or both since it comes with doors for both sides) but still use the tarp without the doors and save the weight when you don't need them. I did this for about a year and LOTS of people still do this, but I prefer the cleaner look of the Superfly.
