WOW !!!!!!! What a tarp it is (super fly)

Just got my new Super fly tarp from Warbonnet and again all I can say is WOW!!!!

I took it off of the bag which by the way was very nice all on its own.
took no time in hanging up the ridge line from the curtain rod to another anchor in wall acroos the room and this thing is huge.

now I have to get it seam sealed and all my tie outs made to put on it.

can't wait to get it outside and fully setup and see just how much room is under it with the pole mods.

all the pics I have seen of them done that way looks great.

yep agree very nice tarp, I got mine last year.
hung it up in my apartment between the coat rack and my kids bed and it looked HUGE.... but out in the real world in porch mode it is just fantastic.

quick one nighter to test it out

All the gear and no idea.....

I love mine, great piece of kit. The only part you need to seam seal is the pullouts.

I'm glad I finally picked one up. I used the Mamajamba for a couple years, even got the door kit. But the simplicity and full coverage of the Superfly is just great. Many times I'll just leave the doors hang loose on one end if it's not windy. Tie one out, one onto a nearby branch, whatever. Tons of options.

Stood up well to freezing rain one night and snow the next on my last trip.

You mentioned seam sealing - maybe you can learn from my mistake. I seam sealed my pullouts on my workbench....not effective. I finally had success when I set up the tarp with the proper tension (especially on the pullouts) and performed the seam sealing in this fashion. Hope this helps.

    Great tarp!

thanks for the info as I haven't seam sealed my pullouts yet and hanging it I would have but would not have thought to have tension on the pullouts when doing it

Yes, the WBSF is quite a tarp. It kept me dry during a 12+ hour breezy deluge a couple of falls ago. I cannot ask for more.

Regarding seam sealing - try Permatex flowable windshield sealant from the auto parts store. Much runnier that McNett, it gets soaked up by the thread rather than sitting atop the fabric. Make sure to seal when the relative humidity is high - silicone seal needs moisture to cure.

    Enjoy your fine tarp.
