Hello from Brevard, NC

Hi all, Jim here

I've been spending way too much time just lurking and soaking up all the great information on HF so I thought I should introduce myself!
Moved to WNC about 1.5 years ago to enjoy all the things this great area has to offer. Love mountain biking, fly fishing, hiking and camping. Made a great friend who is a big hammock pusher and that got me into the idea. Since then I've bought a couple hammocks for use in the back yard and to take along on hikes and camping trips. Now I've got a pile of feathers and fabric sitting on the table waiting for some thread to make my own 11' hammock, silpoly tarp and some fluffy insulation. Looking forward to making the move from the ground to the hammock on this year's nights in the woods.

Turns out there is a group hang in the area each year at John Rock and I'll look forward to meeting some folks there.

Oh yeah, it's mostly Shug's fault. I'm bet he impacts way more people than he realizes, maybe not, but either way...woooo buddy!

Oh I'm jealous, wish I was a little closer to the mountains like you.

Happy Hanging from another NC hanger. I agree with TallPaul, wish I lived closer to the mountains. Of course to be fair I wish I lived on the beach too. If you see any mountains with beachfront property give me a shout out LOL
