    Hammock Mount for the Jeep

I love my hammock. Now I only require one tree or support. Perfect for tailgating....

Let me know what ya'll think...

Just hooks into my bumper but can work on any standard 2" hitch...

Looks awesome. You could actually use a 2x4 and a stake instead of another tree...believe it or not it balances. Search for "one pole method" and you'll see some examples.

Here's how I did it in my Wrangler.

No problem on the link. I have an account on Jeep Forum as well but don't post much at all. A couple of classifieds looking for a hard top and full steel doors...might have one in Cincinnati but that's a long drive. Anybody here want to part with a TJ hard top and some full steel doors?

Anyway, your setup looks awesome. I'm concerned about the force I put on the windshield with my hammock. I didn't notice any flexing but it can't be good for it. I'll still use it if I need to but it's not something I do often. At least yours won't affect anything like that.

There's also a picture in the gallery here of Alexandre's Isuzu Trooper with a hammock hung inside it...not sure if you could do that with your Cherokee.

Just installed the 3" Rusty's Advanced lift on my Jeep a few weeks ago. 33 x 12.5.

Very nice...I stumbled upon your site about a week ago and you have tons of useful info. I am planning on thru-hiking the AT in April so I'll definitely be putting that information to good use.
