Like the previous newbie, I stumbled across shug's youtube channel and decided to join here. I have been a backpacker for a few years now. This year I'm fortunate to get September off and plan to hike the Long Trail in VT for my 1st long distance trek. Considering I don't sleep to well in sheltlers, I decided that hammock is the way to go because whenever I lay in one I have the problem of not being able to keep my eyes open. Hopefully I can join some of you and hang. Later.
