I did not seal the Mamajamba. Kept me dry in one all-night rain and during one or two shorter rains. The ridgeline in a mj doesn't need sealing; at most the pull-outs require it.
A Warbonnet Supertarp = a Mamajamba with doors. (I had doors with my MJ as an add-on; the Supertarp has the doors as part of the tarp, so lighter than MJ plus door kit). I have not sealed my new to me Supertarp.
I used my MJ to cover up a WBBB, plenty of coverage in typical conditions even without doors on the ends.
