I always put my bugnet on first, sew it right on. Then I sew the zipper on the bugnet with it together, the pulls facing each other so it can be opened either direction, then once I have a row of stitches in each side of the zipper, doing the widest side first, in other words, on the far outside of the zipper. Then I cut the bugnet right down the middle and sew the second seam on each side of the zipper, this time the seam goes close to the zipper coils, then fold the extra bugnet back on itself and hold down with a zig zag or some other stitch to keep all loose ends out of the zipper coils.
Predictions are risky, especially when it comes to the future.
