Thanks TallPaul and Natalie. It's a blizzard outside tonight and it was great going with you on your day hike. There was a view about 9 minutes into your video looking down into the gorge. Really pretty. Nice job. Thanks for sharing.

Once again, looked like a fun trip and a good time. Natalie is going to turn into a film producer before long. Thanks for taking us along!

I hope you survived the blizzard. We got some ice, enough to be annoying. Thanks for watching.

Hi Firebird, always appreciate you watching. It was a fun trip. Little more elevation gain/loss than the prior weekend

Nice trip. I always enjoy watching your adventures. I'm struggling not being able to edit any of my last adventures as my editing software has bit the dust until I get a new computer.
Downhill, river, uphill, snow. Nice progression. Where did you go skiing? I noticed the lift ticket on her jacket. You must have brought the snow with you.

I'm looking at a new PC myself.. going to be pulling the trigger on a GoPro 4 Silver soon (at least that is the plan).
The lift ticket is from Winterplace... that seems to be our go-to area (not that we go often).

And I have an updated appreciation for the hikes you & others have done in the gorge.
Every bit of progress is up, down, across, or under something.. while making sure you haven't lost your path, which is fairly easy to do.
Good times though - I wouldn't want it any other way here.

I just picked up the GoPro4 Silver. I love it. The only problem is that I haven't been able to do anything with the videos yet. I have a Macbook from late 2007, but after the last round of software updates, it just shuts off on its own in the middle of doing things. iMovie won't even open.

The Gorge is a wonderful place and great for adventures. I haven't been to Winterplace, but I've been to Snowshoe and all of the areas in Western NC. I look forward to seeing you in the trail.

I'm drawn to the open country. Its where the world makes the most sense. When I put myself out there I always return with something new.

Most EXCELLENT! Yeah the Gorge will punish you ... in a good way ... for missing a turn for sure! Nicely done on the video and the hike! I actually learned something ... you're a professional Hair Model! Why did you wait so long to share this talent with the rest of us!

Great video Paul and Natalie. I did that loop a couple of years ago and made the same mistake and missed the trail. We went down to the river and followed the river up to the waterfall you all were at and reconnected with the trail before heading back out Bynum Bluff. Bet you are glad you all did not go back up the Cabin Trail.
