Hammock marriage retreat

Got to spend my Valentine's weekend with my wife at a marriage retreat at Lake Degray, AR. Saturday was gorgeous..Next day winter storm advisories. Got to hang while the hanging was good though!

So I suppose the saying would be, couples that hang together, hang together.

Or maybe the Hallmark card version: Couples that hang together, last forever.

Degray is beautiful! I'm glad you got to spend such nice weekend there with your sweetheart. Did you see many eagles?

Yes it was. There was another couple who brought a hammock. He and I spent some time talking all things hammock. Probably not the best thing to do on a marriage retreat.

It really is a beautiful place. We usually camp there 3-4 times a year. Didn't see any eagles this time. I think they were all hunkered down knowing the impending weather change

That's very nice.

My daughter will be getting married next month in Arkansas.

In addition to the regular gifts through the bridal registry they've asked for hammock gear!
