SELK BAG LITE $85

This is a used XL Selk bag lite that I purchased about 2 years ago. I am selling it because I want to buy some other hammock goodies. The sizing of Selk bags run small so an XL is really a large. I am 6’ and 225 and it fits like a large pair of sweats and large sweat shirt. I hate to let this go but the wife says I have to get rid of something to get something new. She keeps me in check.

Use: I have taken this on one 5 day high mountain trip and it worked like a charm with a base layer. I have also used it while studying in the winter when it has gotten cold in my apartment (probably 20 hours of studying). I have taken it down to 40 degrees comfortably.

Condition: The bag is in great condition and has been stored clean, dry and uncompressed. The only thing that I have seen is a little stretching in the groin region which is common for these bags. The compression sack has a tear but it is not on the layer next to the bag so the bag is not exposed when it is stored. I also wrote my name on it.

Do you have any idea of the weight, and how small it will compress for packing?

The weight listed by the manufacturer is 3.96 lbs.
Stuffed in sack: 15 x 9 x 9 in (38 x 23 x 23 cm)

I usually don't use a stuff sack to compress my sleeping bags and just stuff it into my pack sleeping bag compartment. I would say that the space is a little smaller than an official basketball.

Thanks for the information, it's not packable for what I do.
