I recently had the same problem when selecting my first tarp and had it narrowed down to these two tarps. I ended up getting an 11' Tadpole tarp with side panel pulls. Great customer service from Marty and I like that I can add the pole mod if i feel like later. Had my first camping trip with the tarp last week and had no problems with it.

I did a review on both including pictures last year. edge tarp pros, camo is great, material feels lighter but the scale disagrees, a couple inches wider. cons, not a 12' RL, I have had slow response from vendor. tadpole tarp pros, more options for it, 12' ridgeline option, which I prefer for that extra coverage from the rain, fog, snow and other things falling customer service. cons, not camo but really nice green or browns...hmmm price perhaps....
I sold the edge tarp. kept the tadpole. also have Wilderness Logics Old Man Winter for now(winter)

Thanks!
So after consuming all the answers you received on this thread, which one did you end up going with?

I have 2 tadpoles and love them. I can't believe how fast they arrived... like 3 days after the order.

I see a Camo Tadpole... looks pretty cool. I have the Edge and I think it's a very well made tarp.
