I'm interested...
Got any more pictures?
How have you stored it since you bought it?
I do not have any more pics. Its been in the stuff sack since I received it.
Hmmm...
that gives me pause...
I'm no expert, but I've aways heard that you shouldn't store a sleeping bag compressed down in its stuff sack (especially a down filled bag) because that will destroy its loft capability...
How long has it been stored that way? (ie how long have you had it?)
Down is much more resilient to compression than synthetics. Synthetics should never be stored compressed except when on the trail, because the loose loft very easily.. Down can handle it, and usually just needs a quick shakeout to loft up. It should still be stored long term uncompressed just to be sure. The bag is probably fine unless its been stored for years compressed.
I've never seen a synthetic bag sold in it's stuff sack, but I've seen manufacturers sell down bags that way. This is one of the ways that down beats synthetics.
Thanks for the info.
On a side note, I have a synthetic sleeping bag* that I left stored in its stuff sack (at my father's place) for two years and it seemed to be fine when I checked it a month or so ago...

...maybe it's not as big an issue as I've heard. <shrugs>
I need to put money in my account, but if this is still available when I get that done (within the week) then I'll take it.

I'll take it! Pm being composed as we speak.
I store all my down & my synthetic uqs loose. My down & synthetic uqs was shipped to me compressed for space purposes which is fine.
My 0° down bag from LL Bean was shipped loose. I store my synthetic sleeping bags compressed.
I had an old 0° synthetic bag I got with Marburo packs that I forgot about & it stayed compressed for 20+ years. Ran across it & gave it to a grand boy. Lofted up just like New & works great.
Sold to mayhenkb
