Well I've been looking at them for a while now and finally decided to order a Dream Hammock Thunderbird! Order #1666! The thing that really sealed it was looking through the pictures on their website of all the hammocks they've made, and the different colors and custom accents you could get. That and the fact that I haven't heard a bad word about them, their product, or their service. Case in point, last night while looking at their pictures I saw a custom order that I liked and wondered if they could do it in a different color for me(someone had done accent colors on the zipper covers, grosgrain pull outs, zipper pulls, and top stitching) it looked really sharp! So I emailed Randy around 8:30 or so to see if it was possible to do this in the spectra yellow instead of the blaze orange, expecting to get a reply maybe in the next day or two. Before going to bed that night around 11:30 or so I checked my email and he had just responded saying they could absolutely fill my request! He must not sleep! He said they have been really swamped and it may be 6 weeks as they are playing catch up. That did it for me, I came home today and ordered one! Thunderbird 1.6 Hyper D - drab olive single layer 11' with drab olive over cover and spectra yellow zipper covers, pulls and topstitching with whoopies. Now the anxious waiting!!!
