    Phoenix 20 ?

Ok,I think I have now settled on my UQ.I'm looking at the Phoenix 20..Anybody have any experience with this quilt? What's the lowest temp you've been in with this UQ? I've heard alot of good things about the Hammock Gear line and I think this will be a winner! Just looking for a little bit of feed back before I dive in.Thanks in advance

I've been down to 24°F with mine. Just merino base layer on.

Just received my Phoenix 20 in Multicam outside, burnt orange inside. Very satisfied with the quality. I set it up on my Blackbird XLC this afternoon in my backyard. It was not too cold in Birmingham today (mid 50s) and I was very warm and fell asleep quickly with no top quilt. I had no problems with the set up, either.

I've been down to 23* with mine. Warm and comfy with just a base layer.

I've been down in the mid teens in backyard tests, it was pushing the limits certainly. I was playing some other games to stay comfy.

The 20* Phoenix is my most often used quilt.

I've taken my 20* Phoenix down to 13 degrees and was warm. I'd be hesitant to take it any lower without supplementing insulation.

Thats good to know SilvrSurfr! I'm a warm sleeper as it is,but for now I plan on staying with my sleeping bags instead of buying a top quilt.I would love to see how it would do with my Western Mountaineering Antelope 5 degree bag with the gore wind stopper.I have only had the chance to use it a few times and in the low teens i was way to warm, almost to a sweat in it.But any excuse to get outside and hang is a good thing!

I have used mine into the teens with no cold butt syndrome. I did use a small square of closed cell foam in the foot box of the blackbird though.
