    Kevlar Tree Huggers now available

I made Kevlar tree hugger available on the site. They have a made from 2000 pound breaking strength Kevlar and are extremely light. A pair of 4 foot Huggers are 1.1 ounce. They are 1 inch wide and pack down extremely small. Another great attribute is they dry fast and are very abrasive resistant. I think we can finally say our suspensions are bulletproof. Huggers have 3 inch loops sewn on both ends.
In comparison 4 foot 1500 pound breaking strength polyester huggers are 67 grams and 4 foot 2000 pound breaking strength Kevlar is about 32 grams!!!

    Oh yeah!

Just ordered the very first pair.

I hope they are going to be hand signed in Gutterman Thread blue by Dutch.

Or even better, a packing slip hand signed in ink.

I never would have thought of Kevlar Tree Huggers. My Kayak is Kevlar, bullet proof vests, bike tires Kevlar, but Tree Huggers, never considered such a thing.

    Great idea.

Dual function. If your kayak springs a leak you can patch it up. If the Russians invade you can wrap it around yourself to stop the bullets. When the Scouts want to practice their fire response on a live model you can wrap it around your head to reduce scarring. I could have used these so many time already. And they're so light and strong you could use them for lassoing snakes. Did I mention that Kevlar is also venom resistant. The only side effect is that those who come in contact with it are prone to Dutch Gear Disease and blathering on aimlessly about hammock equipment on internet forums.

Would it be possible to order these with loops on one end to add buckles? Or will the looped end fit through a buckle?

Unfortunately if you are in the US. It probably isnt the Russians you need to be worried about.
