    Superfly Weight Question

Hey everyone, this is my first post. I just ordered up a Blackbird 1.1 double and Yeti underquilt. I really look forward to hanging.

I have a question about the Warbonnet Superfly, and I couldn't find the answer by searching so here goes:

How much does the current Superfly tarp weight with and without the snap-on doors? I wanted to know how much weight I would save if I left the doors at home in milder weather.

    Thanks! David

Brandon will probably be more specific but I believe the difference would basically be
the weight difference shown for the Superfly vs. Big Mambajamba on his website.
Give or take a few ounces for pullouts.
It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change.

i just measured the weight of one i have in stock right now, and it's 18oz/26oz, so about 8oz saved without any doors(and their respective shockcord guylines and hardware)

And a big Hammock Forum welcome to David, another migrant (like me) from the BPL forums who is on a voyage of hammock discovery!!

First, the hammock...then the UQ...then the tarp...then the whoopie sling...then the Dutch Clips...then the (well, you get the idea!!).

Good folks here at the HF! You'll like it here!
