    Zeppelin 3/4 or full

I am ordering a Zeppelin just do not know if I will stay warm if I did the 3/4 ,I also need to stay as lite as I can so thats why I am asking you all. I can not order the two of them and go that way.

Does anyone use there 3/4 in the cold . I will put something at my feet to help block cold . I also ordered my Renegade Quilt with extra down in foot box for this reason. But I would like input please.

I use a 3/4 quilt and put a bit of closed cell foam pad under my feet inside my top quilt foot box. I've gotten down to 23* this way and was quite comfortable.

+1. I like the weight savings, the foam pad doubles as my break seat, kneeling pad. I've taken it down to 9*.

How tall are you? IMO, using a 3/4 UQ as a 3 or 4 season quilt gets "iffy" when you're much over 6'-0" tall - because the extra pad you have to bring doesn't save much on weight or bulk relative to a full size UQ. I'm 6'-4" - and only use 3/4 UQ (40 degree Phoenix) in the summer when I can get away without much pad.

My 20* HG 3/4 Phoenix is my most versatile UQ. I've taken it from 75* F down to 13 degrees. I also have a 40* Phoenix and 0* Incubator, but the 20* 3/4 Phoenix usually gets the bulk of the work.

I never use a pad in the footbox unless it's going below 20* F.
