There are several sets of 'stairs' and two bridges. With a little help, its do-able. Pneumatic wheels would be a plus. There is a 'mud' section that we've all come to know and love

You know, it felt good to win the People's Choice Award at the Quest Brewery Chili Cookoff. I've added the trip to Black Balsam to the spreadsheet.

If it has been a particularly wet season, I think quicksand might be a better term. Pneumatic tires would definitely be a huge help.

If you want a challenge.. you could take the back door to cedar rock

it's definitely not for the faint of heart and is impossible if it's wet( trust me, i've been there) I finally made it last year. The last few hundred feet is about a 40 degree granite slab. I believe its's a class 5 scramble or something like that. I would go so far to say, it's extremely dangerous

The grid coordinates for the parking area are N 35 17.081 W082 47.505. These took me right to the entrance last year. Sluggie and Lump do a great job on how to get from the parking area to the hang.
