The last few hundred feet is about a 40 degree granite slab. I believe its's a class 5 scramble or something like that. I would go so far to say, it's extremely dangerous

I would be interested in that.
    Straight out of Clayton.

Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.

I'll show you the way but I'm not going back up it again. Remember you still have to get back down. I seriously would not attempt it if the rock is wet. Ropes would be handy as well

I'm drawn to the open country. Its where the world makes the most sense. When I put myself out there I always return with something new.

Folks really liked their description of the path to the Enchanted Forest. Perhaps someone can re-post it.

there would be 2 of us trying to manage it. When it comes to uphill I can be slow as a herd of turtles thru peanut butter, but I keep moving, as long as I can breathe, anyway. It'll take us a little longer because I'll have to stop a few times, but I'd really like to do this.

When the time is near, give an ETA. We'll come and help or film it for YouTube

Well, we have one of the fold up wagons. it's pretty tough. Holds 200Lbs. I think we can make it work. I just have a few things I'll need to bring...small cooler, potty, one or 2 anodized dutch ovens, seasonings, some spoons, charcoal, small table, few clothes. Hammock and tarp will be in my backpack. Should be able to manage the wagon between me and KingsFord. If not he'll have to send ya'll back for the body.
