    Hot Lips, wear shoes you can get wet and don't put more in one trip than you can hoist and carry through a small creek. That creek has a variable flow. If it has been dry, you might just get your calves a little wet. Lotsa rain and it could hit your thighs easy.
    I hope to be there! I had some ortho surgery of my own last Friday. Broke me ankle in the parking lot of my condo with the last of that icy weather. today is day 13 of laying in bed with my foot on a pillow. I want this sucker to heal really good, so I can keep hiking on it til I'm 90. I'll be watching the thread now. Thanks for texting me, Running Feather! xx oo

    Headed to the Ortho myself next thursday with an ankle issue, but my has been a persistent issue for a while now. I have a couple sherpas to carry me up if need be
