    Howdy from Texas

Hello all, my wife and I have decided to become TX Swingers ;I ment to say Hammock Swingers that is.... We live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and have always been tent campers. We both are in the medical field and are a part of a disaster medical assesment team and I thought with a hammock we could sleep just about anywhere, so we have taken the plunge.

Got a great deal on a couple of HH Expedition ASYM's so they will be what we use. I just got them in the mail yeaterday and we cant wait to set them up and try them out.
I'm more than open to suggestions on useage and other gear. Look forward to hearing from you other Swingers.......

Welcome to HF AMS! I think you'll be glad you took the plunge.
As long as you can find a place to hang your hammock (be creative or take a hammock stand) it sure is nice to get a good nights sleep, especially when there's work to be done
I too will something make and joy in it's making

Welcome to the hanging gang...Get a good bottom insulation in place before the temps drop....Having spent the Christmas holidays in the Allen/Plano area a couple ytears ago freezing definately happens in Texas.
