I joined right at a year ago and have been for the most part just lurking to get ideas for camping/hiking purchases and MYOG.
...So I finally thought I would start to post and become more active.
I've recently become slightly obsessed with making my own ultra-light gear, and after two chilly overnights at the Savage Gulf have been focused on staying warm without breaking my back.
I've also been fortunate enough to have a friend loan me a surger and a quilting sewer (which they weren't utilizing) that I'm looking forward to monkeying with for my next few projects.
I've been using a 20-30 year old Brother that I've really dialed in to sewing Argon, but it's small size limits my throughput and ability.
Looking forward to becoming more active and getting to know other members here.
