11 ft PolyD Hammock in Olive Green - a rant.

I want one!!

I so want to dive into getting one of Dutch's hammocks. It's a nice 11 ft PolyD model. Thing is I have my heart set on a green one and right now they appear to be out of stock. So my OCD self is sitting here doing this:

Adding a blue one to the cart, then a grey, then back to blue... etc. ad nauseum. Check to see if green's back in stock since 3 minutes ago when I checked it last... nope, back to grey again. Maybe I can make one! The green fabric is in stock... add it to the cart. No, then I'd have to buy a sewing machine. Remove from cart. Add the grey one back to the cart. Hover over the checkout button. No, I really want green... go back and check if it magically is in stock.... nope. Maybe a blue one...

This is a continuous loop for me this morning and last night.

He will make you a green one. you just have to order one in a different color then write in the comment section what color you actually want. I ordered a dark olive last week, and it supposed to be done next week.

Well thanks everybody. I was just ranting to get it off my mind. It worked! Still, I didn't know he'd just make one. I was gonna wait for it (ever so patiently I might add) to come back in stock. Thanks for mentioning that. It just never occurred to me.

I pulled the PolyD Olive because I make the same color in NylonD and I could see them getting mixed up. As stated I will make on special order, [email protected]

Do you mean the wrong one might get shipped?

There are many places the mistake could be made. I am sure if we made and sold the same color, we would send out the wrong fabric. So I have a seamstress with rolls of my fabric. The rolls could get mixed up, or the hammocks could get mixed up in transport, or they could get stocked on the wrong shelf, or they could fall off the shelf and be put back in the wrong bin. So to make it safe, I just take special order and give her the fabric and a labeled bag. She returns with a hammock in that labeled bag.
