Ok so the pictures my wife took yesterday completely cut out the stand. Here is the thread that I got most of my info from:

I like your setup daneaustin3, what did you use for the boom?
You probably can't beat a DIY version of one of these

My favorite, under 10 pounds, requires serious metal skills.

A close 2nd, requires nominal skills. Weight depends upon support material.

I really like this one but find it too small and lacking tarp supports, but with creativity that could be solved pretty easy I think.

Give me more folly said the fool,
Give me stone silence said the deaf man,

I have the Boonedox Drifter but, at 26 lbs, I can't carry it very far. There's a clone out now that, at 10 lbs, makes carrying easier. Someone started this thread about the clone:

I ordered a Hammeck Stand last week and it shipped out today. I am excited to try it out as I want to attempt hanging almost full time. The Boonedox drifter is rated at 400 lbs while the clone is rated at 200 lbs if that matters in your decision. That and it seems the clone does not come with the option of extender poles like the original does. The Hammeck stand is also rated at 400 lbs and I would be using it at home or car camping so the weight is not as much of an issue for me as is the amount of weight that the stand can hold. I am 6'4" and around the 300 lb range depending on the scale and or my recent activity or eating habits lol. I went with the Hammeck stand over the Turtle Dog Stands that I built due to the 4 legged design opposed to the 6 legged design. The swing set style design does not take up as much floor space if I want to post it up in the house or in a hotel room. It also breaks down to an airline friendly size if using a golf club bag style case. I am not sure if the curved poles on the Boonedox would pack as easily though I do not have any experience with it, that is just my thought process on the purchase. Let us know which one you decided to go with or build.
I have a handyhammock stand. It super light and easy to carry. Takes practice to get it up, but it's solid. I've had it up during a rain storm, I had separate sticks for my tarp and nothing got wet. And the pegs didn't come out of the ground
I'd rather be hanging.
