MYOG : UL Double layer Argon Camo Hammock

Was going to do a double M50 until the Argon came out. Glad I waited.

1 oz camo argon outside.
.67 black Argon inside.

Channel ends.

12' long material and ended up at 11'-4" long by material width less hem wide which is finished at about 4'-9".

Suspension is the same as I had before on my 16 oz hammock.
Hammock end - Amsteel loops with whoopie hooks through the sleeve.

Hammock weighs 11oz with the Amsteel loops and whoopie hooks.

Tree straps 5' long 5/8" mule tape with a 8" long amsteel leader with another whoopie hook on the end of the leader and a 4.5' long amsteel whoopie on the other end.

Suspension weighs 3.4 oz.

Similar to a Sgt rock suspension if I remember correctly.

Its comfortable but I dont think it is quite as comfotable as my double 1.1 digital camo hammock just talking breathability, but I have not tried them back to back.

A tiny bit stretchy but not too much but need more time in it as I just finished.

Entire rig weighs 14.4 oz.

Impressive weight. May I ask how much you weigh or how much you're hoping it will hold?

I weigh 235.

I think I read somewhere where guys close to or at my weight were using a double M50 with no issues so I figure it should work. We will see how long it lasts but at least it did not dump me first thing and I heard no stitches popping etc.

Combined weight is about 1.65oz or so. Should be right at the limit for me.
