    Confused

So the Danger Bird bug screen and cover zip only on one side and just pull over to the other side of the hammock unzipped?

Take a peek at this photo with the net and overcover partially zipped.

The DangerBird has a zipper along each side of the hammock that runs from end to end.
The netting can be zipped back and stored in it's peak bag at one end of the hammock. The overcover is zipped back and stored at the other end. This way you can choose to have a completely topless hammock, netting deployed, or overcover deployed.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks PapaSmurf for the photo. Does the Nighthawk work out the same way? Unsure of the difference between DB and Nighthawk. Are they the same besides the vented overcover? Different zipper system?

The NightHawk uses a completely different zipper system.
Here is a photo of the foot end showing the net and overcover attachment.

The net zips on counter clockwise & the overcover zips on clockwise. In both cases, the slider with the red zipper pull is zipped clear around the hammock and back to the foot end. Then the other 2 sliders are positioned anywhere along the hammock so that they are handy for you. There are double peak bags on the foot end for storing each cover when it's not being used.
