Hennessy hex

I'm about to head out on an 8 day trip. Never been more than 3. I have a hennessy hex and I've never been in a downpour. Do I need to seal the seams?

I don't think so - at least I never sealed mine. If it's the poly tarp, I believe the seams are taped.

Depends...we purchased a poly Hex a couple years ago during their fall/winter sale, and it came with a tube of seam sealer...it wasn't seam sealed, or taped...Tim seam sealed it.

i have not sealed mine - and ive had it out in the british rain alot. just pitch it in storm mode aka steep sides

Had my hennessy hex out in about 3 days of rain and my hammock stayes dry the whole time. I didn't make any mods to it. I was impressed.
