PM Limit

Minor complaint. Is it possible to increase the pm limit. Again if I'm speaking out of school here please let me know. But it seems to me that text takes up almost no space on a hard drive. I would think that a 50 dollar 1tb drive added to the server would hold all the pm s we would ever need. So why the limit? As far as I know no other forum does this (well I'm assuming whiteblaze does). I find it annoying that the only forum I have to pay money to, in order to get full access, is limiting the amount of text based messages I can receive. At the very least how about a friendly pop up or email alerting the user that their box is full, instead of having to be informed by other users in the open forum.

I am a contributing member and I have still run into this problem with what seemed like a relatively small amount of messages. Granted that was a while ago, and maybe a change was made that I missed, but I've seen people posting to each other that their box is full and they need to empty some of it so they can get more.

I have over 200. Guess I should clean out some of mine! Wish I could archive some. Tried once but it did not go well for me.

There is a reminder that your inbox is getting full. I just got it yesterday and had to clean out some PMs.

If I remember correctly, a donating member can have 999 PM's. That's total in and out. And yes, I've hit the limit before.
A mod can confirm this.

I received a reminder about a year ago and another one in December of 2014. I transferred some of the information I wanted to keep over to my Email. Now on the first of the month I clear out messages.

Cool thanks for the feedback guys, definitely didn't have 999 in there and have never received the reminder. Maybe something has changed since I had this happen or maybe I have a popup blocker in my browser that is killing that reminder.
