Hello, happy hangers.
Please permit me to introduce myself. I'm a well traveled and thoroughly experienced hanger.
I'm not overmuch techy, and I'm not (With the singular exception of having joined the American army.) a "joiny" type of man.
However, it is my opinion that the members of this forum represent the cutting-edge elite of thinking, hanging, outdoors enthusiasts.
I want in with this bunch. It's my wish to make satisfactory introduction of myself to you, that I may be invited aboard to participate in this
forum and to make what contribution I may. Though, surely, I've Ten things to learn, to any One thing I might have to contribute.
Some points of self disclosure which may be of interest to you, I here below submit for your consideration:
1) I'm a "Hennessy man" [Deep Jungle XL], but I'm not a brand worshipper. You'll get no heat from me. H.Y.O.H., right? Realistically, 80% of everything is carp*, anyway.
2) I've hammocked on 6 of the continents on this little blue ball. Africa being (By leaps and strides!) the most dangerous, destructive, and unforgettably "unique" (Read frightening).
3) I'm not an ounce-counter (Gram Weenie?), but I respect and admire those who proudly ARE, for I believe they bring us ALL tremendous technical and material advances. Thank you!
